CAKE: Drunken (ala Tortuga) Pineapple Upside Down cake

I googled "recipe for pineapple upside down cake"
Betty Crocker says: http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/pineapple-upside-down-cake/a1c9a639-0748-4f2c-89f5-fd33cf138986

I googled "copycat recipe tortuga rum cake"
http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-make-a-Tortuga-Rum-Cake/
It seemed too complicated, so I just did the Glaze part: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-make-a-Tortuga-Rum-Cake/step7/Create-the-glaze/

WHAT I ENDED UP DOING HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE JUNGLE!

  • Use a Yellow Cake Mix like Pillsbury
  • Bake on 2nd to the lowest rack for ~50 minutes
  • Fork holes and drizzle the glaze to drunken
